Charities supported for 2019:

Alzheimer's Society - Our mission is to transform the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will strive to create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice

Alzheimer's Research - Our vision is a world where people are free from the fear, harm and heartbreak of dementia. Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity, dedicated to causes, diagnosis, prevention, treatment and cure.

Bag Books - Bag Books provides multi-sensory books and storytelling for people with severe or profound and multiple learning disabilities. Our stories are told through voice and emotion rather than words and pictures.

Christian Solidarity Worldwide - CSW's team of specialist advocates work on over 20 countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East, to ensure that the right to freedom of religion or belief is upheld and protected.

Our vision is a world free from religious persecution, where everyone can practise a religion or belief of their choice.

Demelza - When families are struggling to cope because their children have a serious or terminal condition, Demelza provides specialist care and support, bringing them back from breaking point. Our hospices in South East London and Kent, and our homecare service in East Sussex provide tailored care to babies, children and young adults. Our facilities, nurses, therapists and dedicated volunteers give families the time and space to feel like families again.

Heart of Kent Hospice - Heart of Kent Hospice, established in 1991, provides exceptional care for people facing the challenge of living with a terminal illness in Maidstone, Aylesford, Tonbridge, Malling and surrounding areas.

Joshua Network Trust - The Joshua Network Trust is a Christian-based youth work charity whose vision is to deliver professional youth work and training. We network with agencies, charities, colleges, schools, police, youth organisations and the local Christian community who share our aims, to address the needs of young people, especially those that are marginalised or excluded.

Operation Smile - At Operation Smile we believe every child suffering from cleft lip or cleft palate deserves exceptional surgical care. Our medical volunteers span six continents and provide our patients with specialised care so they can live healthy and productive lives.

Spadework - Spadework is a charity which provides life skills, training and work experience for over 90 people with learning and other disabilities.

Our trainees are involved in all aspects of Spadework. They produce the plants that are sold in the Garden Centre and the fruit and vegetables served in the café and sold in the farm shop.

Tamar - Tamar provides essential support and advocacy by reaching out to many who are suffering through sexual exploitation and modern slavery in the Borough of Westminster, where the illicit trading of women as a commodity for the use and pleasure of others is all too often ignored. The work of Tamar to address trafficking for sexual exploitation is absolutely essential in London today.

We donate to the above charities with our away-giving

(charities are reviewed annually)

We also provide items to the following two charities:

Knitted items like blankets and baby clothes to Starfish Malawi - a Christian organisation seeking to make a difference in education, vocational training and AIDS awareness by affirming the words of Jesus in Matthew 25, "What you did to the least of these, you do to me."

Shoeboxes at Christmas to Blythswood Care - which combines the Christian message with practical help for those in need at home and abroad, regardless of their political or religious beliefs or ethnic origins.
